i’ve had much the same experience. you’re not by yourself in that. :)
thank you! It is a very frustrating experience, but hopefully everything works out for you! :)
I hate college. For everyone else I know college is the best time of their life, but for me it has been the most frustrating process. I am a really good student and getting into schools has never been the problem for me. The problem is I can’t afford any of these schools. I couldn’t afford MassArt, so I went to URI but even URI was too much and for the money I felt like I was wasting my time. So I went to CCRI and it is perfect for me because it is affordable and I felt more comfortable with the professors there than I did at URI. But eventually if I want to get a degree I need to transfer out, and transferring has been so difficult for me. I get into these schools, and they give somewhat of a scholarship but I still can’t afford it. I considered taking time off and applying for a promotion in a corporate position at my work, that in all honesty I am so clearly qualified for and have beyond plenty of experience in, but of course I don’t have a degree so who would hire me?? But I can’t get a degree because college is so expensive and I can’t afford school. It is this vicious cycle and I can’t stand it.
My parents are so nervous for me with school because they see how much debt kids are in right out of college and they don’t want that for me. But no matter where I apply it looks like that will happen.
It is just frustrating to see all my friends have these typical college experiences and really enjoying their time in college and I haven’t.
I just found all my photos from when I was about 17 so prepare for a spam of my teenage life hahaha

Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man.
